The Human League (1)

The first artist to be introduced on this site is the Human League. Their sound with Philip Oakey may be said to be synonymous with electro pop. They started with the album “Reproduction”, but it wasn’t until the album “Dare!”, which started as the new Human League with two female vocalists Joanne and Susan, that came into the limelight. This album contains “Don’t you want me”, which was introduced as a masterpiece of electro pop. The appeal of the Human League is, first and foremost, vocals. The combination of Philip’s emotional low voice and Joanne, Susan’s high voice backing chorus adds a colorful touch to the song. Next time, I will introduce their songs.
